Retinal Imaging
A retinal camera is linked to a PC so that a digital picture of the back of the eye can be taken and stored. This provides a permanent and accurate record of the health and condition of your eyes. Over a period of time by comparing images we can monitor any changing eye conditions and ensure that if required referral is made promptly so that treatment can be given at the earliest opportunity. “I recommend this to all our patients, and feel it should be carried out at regular intervals especially as we get older” says Amar. |
